My fairytale ♥

My life is seriously so freakin awesome! I have the best friends and family in the world, I have the best job in the world, I have the gospel in my life, and a husband who WORTHILY holds the priesthood. Yeah my life is awesome! Today while witnessing a trust one of my bosses said "Let me do introductions, this is so and so and this is Randi, our paralegal, she keeps us in business and is our better half" after the last few days, i was feeling pretty useless, since im so new (5 months) i dont know how to do everything, but im learning, so it felt good to hear that I was doing a good job :) Work has been busy, but awesome. I love my job! Life other than that is same ol' same ol'. Work, sleep, eat, sleep, work, etc.

Then just like me you'll know... HE WAS HERE!

I love love love this time of year. The spirit in the air, the spoiling my family rotten, the time I get so spend with my family (Brandon is coming in from Washington, and I get to meet his new partner :) and Adam is coming in from California with his new Girlfriend) I cant wait. This year, Christmas has been a little different for us. We decided to get a REAL tree, rather then a plastic one, lets just say I have a new RESPECT for my daddy. Its SO frustrating getting all the lights and ornaments and everything perfect. (without freaking out) (sorry baby) Also I have been trying to get in the right mindset this year. This Forgotten Carol is definitely helping :

Lately it seems like nothing can go right. Let me fill you in on this week. THIS WEEK! Monday, was a REALLY good day, so I warned Nick if Monday was good the rest of the week is gonna be hell. and he didnt believe me... Tuesday we get up, My car wont start, so we try to jump it, Nothin. SO I call my daddy and he lets me borrow his truck, then Nick is like "I love my wife so im gonna go get her and we'll go to lunch" So we go to maverik and grab some hot dogs and nachos then he drops me off at work, 5 minutes later I get a phone call "My clutch went out, Im in the SLCC Parking lot, come take me to work." SERIOUSLY, BOTH CARS! SAME DAY! So I take him to work, my dad gets my car running, Wednesday goes well. Then THURSDAY (Today) We wake up, go to get in my car since nicks is dead, and it wont start. I call my mommy bawling. I cant handle it anymore. 10 minutes later her and Jarron show up to jump my car. She came in case it wouldnt start and we needed a ride. We get it running. We get to work 30 minutes late. I just went out at 3 pm to test to make sure it was ok, it wont start. Alternator. So I call my daddy, and he says " Oh I was planning on being there at 445 to jump your car anyway, how about I come jump it and take it to the shop and you take my truck to pick up Nick and take him to work." Wow. I have the best parents and siblings in the Universe. Not to mention my very patient hubby who held me all morning, even though I was extremely ornery and crying. He just held me. For 20 minutes and kissed me and loved me. I have so many blessings. So what if a few things go wrong. We pay tithing for a reason, right?

When life gets to hard to stand, kneel.

Alot of stuff has happened lately. It has helped me to realize how lucky I am to have the gospel in my life, and to have a husband who WORTHILY holds the Priesthood. Its such a comfort to have that in my home. I start my second job on Tuesday, I am a pampered chef consultant, so if you need anything, let me know I can order it for you! And with that decision came alot of stress and anxiety. We need the money, But i have struggled with my anxiety my whole life and only recently has it gotten worse, and apparently linked with some depression (whod a thunk) SO i got put on some meds to hopefully fix that!
Me and Rach have been hangin out alot lately, and I love every minute of it. We are so much a like and she is my very best friend.
Nick has been working and going to school, I am so ready for him to be done so we can start a family. But that will come in time :)
Noah is as cute as ever, cant believe my glonk o love is six months old. He really is my sunshine, its so cute when I walk in a room and he starts laughing and flailing his arms. Best thing ever!
Elliot is one already, which is crazy! And he is a doll.  I love his laugh, his kisses and his cute little personality!
Xander is 4 going on 27 and is the biggest player ever, everyone is his girlfriend and he loves EVERYONE!. I was so blessed with awesome nephews, and Chars baby girl (Kennedi) will be here in 3 months!!

Times flying by moving so fast, better make it count cause you cant get it back!

Life has been soo good to me lately. We got a new puppy, Sargent Pepper (SP) he is a chihuahua rat terrier mixed. And him and Gilly (Our pitbull terrier) LOVE eachother! They run around and play together all the time. It is sooo cute to watch them together. I'll post videos soon. I've been at the Law Office for just over 2 months, and still love going to work everyday. I love my boss, and I love the clients that come in to visit. I have the greatest husband in the world, Yesterday we went to a friends wedding at the temple, and hearing those sacred vows again made me love him even more <3 then we had the luncheon and the reception. We took tons of photos in the photo booth, wish I could post them, it was a riot. I was EXHAUSTED when we got home. But we had Jaynee and Joe and Jake come over to watch Airplane. We all zonked, and woke up as it ended, I went down to bed and crashed. I woke up to Nick bringing me breakfast in bed. GREATEST. HUSBAND. EVER! I feel sooo blessed for all my family and friends. I cant wait to see Jaynee and Joe kneeling across the altar from eachother and being promised forever. I love them so much, and am sooo proud of how far they have come together.

Turns out I suck at this....

I started that daily thing when i wasnt working much. But I got a new job as a paralegal in a law office. I LOVE IT! It is the best job EVER! There is NO girls which means NO drama (Besides clients) My boss is such a nice guy. Its definitely a huge blessing to work with people who have my same beliefs and actually practice what they preach. I feel like I have been blessed alot these past few months. Nick getting the better job in his company that we prayed for WEEKS about. Me having this job basically fall right into my lap (Thanks Rachy) Everything just has a way of working out, and there is NO Denying where it comes from.
A few things I am especially Grateful for this week:
A mom who listens and vents with me, even if she thinks its stupid. (Love you mama)
A sister who truly is my best friend. I would be totally lost without her.
A dad who will drop anything to take his baby girl to lunch when she needs him, and always knows when to send a simple "I love you brown eyed girl" when i am having a stressful day. He just knows.
A Husband who is a worthy priesthood holder, and fulfills his calling while attending school and working full time. He is my superman. He never ceases to amaze me.
A beautiful cousin that doubles as one of the best friends I've ever had. She's honest, she's a sweetheart, and she is such an incredible example to me. She is such a strong girl. Shes been to hell and back and still always has a smile on her face. I love you Jane. I want you to know how proud I am of you... ♥

Birfday!

I had such an awesome birthday this year! It started Saturday, we went to Wendover with Darren and Lisa, we lost what we took, but we didnt take much, which was good. Then our fun bus broke down on the way home, making us late for my birthday dinner with my friends. It was so great to see everyone!! Then Tuesday (My actual birthday) We woke up at 8, went and got donuts, and went swimming for a few hours. Then we went to lunch at Mo Bettahs with Rach Jarron and Char. after that Nick wanted to go get some "Birthday stuff" done. So me and Rachy got our eyebrows waxed and hung out with my parents for a few hours. Then Nick came back for me, blind folded me and took me for a 20 minute drive to confuse me. We ended up at his parents house, where he had helped his mom make me a yummy dinner, all his siblings were there. It was so fun!! Then he got out the cake. His mom baked it, but he stacked and decorated it beautifully! I am sooo blessed! I have the best family an friends in the world... I love you all. ♥

Lifes a dance, you learn as you go....

Life is awesome... I was having a kind of disappointing day on Tuesday. I had applied for 20+ jobs with absolutely NO callback... So I was in my car and I said a little prayer. Nothing huge just "Please help me know if I need to stay where I am, or keep looking." Within 3 minutes of that prayer I got a call. "This is____ and ______, are you still interested in our receptionist position." Then today I got another one "This is______ at _____ Can you come in Tuesday and meet with us, your resume really struck us." I'm hoping this is a good sign... I want a reliable job, so I can start my family... Come on interviewers... I'm a nice girl!

LONG, and Over due!

I am a blogging slacker... I'll just throw that out there ;). Life has been crazy busy lately, but we love every minute of it... Our work schedules are still making it hard to see eachother besides at night when were asleep. HOWEVER, Nick got the job at his work that he has wanted forever! Which means he is working days again, and I get to make him dinner!! He will be a webpage content person at USANA, so he's with the same company, just no more customer service, which he is VERY happy about. TOday is his last day EVER doing customer service (he hopes). Now we just have to find me a job I can be a LITTLE bit happy at, to help support him through school...
Everyone always posts stats about there babies when they take them to the dr, so since Gilly is my baby and we took him to get his shots yesterday, i thought id share how hes doing ;) Hes about 47 pounds which is very healthy for a 1 year old ;) and he is extremely healthy. No problems at all. He's such a sweet boy, and VERY cuddly... He's a mommy's boy at night but the second Nick leaves he stares out the window and wimpers til he gets home. Nick thinks its cute, I wanna punch him. LOL
I also got braces yesterday, OWIE, very sore today. But sooo glad Im doing this. I havent been happy with my smile for several years, and the dentist we go to gave us a killer deal on both top and bottom braces, so I got the top on yesterday and the bottoms will be next thursday!
I've also been having more issues with my heart lately. For those who dont know, I have a heart defect where my heart starts fluttering (beating super fast) for a few minutes then stops beating for like 8 seconds, then goes back to normal. The doctors dont want to do surgery because they know what causes it (Blood getting stuck in one spot rather than circulating) and it wont kill me. But lately I've had REALLY sharp pains in my chest as well. So I have to go get tests done the day before my birthday (June 28th) so I can get it all figured out :) I'll keep you posted on that :)
My sweet little Nephew Noah is almost 6 weeks old already :( He is growing so fast and gets cuter everyday. Rachel is such an amazing mom, and Casey is the perfect dad. Noah is such a lucky boy!!

Were Back!!

I decided to switch to a blog that we could both post on that wasnt all girly. So I hope you enjoy this one!! Nick and I have been married just over a year now, and we are loving every minute of it. He works at USANA and I work at discover financial. We are as happy as can be, and both working and school-ing full time. Nick wants to be a webpage designer, and my plan is to become a nurse. Its gonna be a long road, but well worth it!

In other news, my BEAUTIFUL big sister, Rachy, had her sweet baby boy, Noah Case Hansen, on Monday and was able to bring him home after some minor setbacks yesterday. He makes me so happy. I cant imagine life without him. The best thing in the world is him grabbing my finger and not letting go. If you try to move he uses his puppy dog face :( Hes such a charmer already!
